How To Setup Your Twitter Account?

Visit twitter.com/signup in step

Step 2

Click on sign up

A pop-up box asking you to create an account will appear, and you’ll be directed through our sign-up process. You will be asked to input details such as your name, phone number, and/or email address.

We will instantly send you an email with instructions so we can verify your email address if you supplied one when you signed up.

Step 5

We will instantly send you a text message with a code if you gave us your phone number when you signed up so we can verify it.

Step 6

Click Next once you’ve finished entering your data.

Step 7

Check the box next to “Track where you see Twitter content around the web” in the Customize your experience pop-up window, then click “Next”.

Step 8

Get familiar with configuring your new account’s settings.

Tips for selecting your username

• Your followers will use your username, commonly referred to as a “handle,” when responding to their comments and sending you Direct Messages.
• Additionally, it will serve as your Twitter profile page’s URL. When you sign up, we’ll provide you a few options, but you’re free to make your own decision. If the new username is available, you can change it whenever you like in your account settings.
• In order to prevent brand confusion, usernames must be no longer than 15 characters and cannot contain the words “admin” or “Twitter”.
