Tips for selecting your username
- Your followers will use your username, commonly referred to as a “handle,” when responding to their comments and sending you Direct Messages.
- Additionally, it will serve as your Twitter profile page’s URL. When you sign up, we’ll provide you a few options, but you’re free to make your own decision. If the new username is available, you can change it whenever you like in your account settings.
- In order to prevent brand confusion, usernames must be no longer than 15 characters and cannot contain the words “admin” or “Twitter”.
