Ingredients

  • 250g/9oz strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 100g/4oz raspberries
  • 250g/9oz cherries, pitted
  • 1 tablespoon Cointreau
  • 1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
  • Put the strawberries, raspberries and cherries in a bowl, drizzle with Cointreau, cover and set aside for 20 minutes.
  • Put the sugar and 2 tablespoons water in a small pan. Stir over a gentle heat for 3 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Cool, pour over the fruit, and serve.
