Ingredients

  • 350g/12oz turnips
  • 2 spring onions, white part only, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish cream
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • Peel, slice and shred the turnips. Add the spring onions, sugar and salt, then rub together with your hands to soften the turnip.
  • Fold in the horseradish cream and caraway seeds, and serve.
